Gifting The Good with Peace this December

It's not JUST big things that create peace in the world. It's also the small everyday things that create ripples around us and promote harmony in families and communities that create change and encourage peace in ways that we can't always see.
Here are 5 things you can do to be intentional about #giftingthegood with peace this December.

1. Read or gift a book by someone that has a different life experience than you.
We are currently loving Sarina & Corina by Kali Fajardo-Anstine or Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coates.

2. Buy the person behind you in line a coffee. We love that Rise Coffee in St. Louis has a board where you can buy an extra coffee and then stick a note on their free coffee board that someone can take later.

3. Call an old friend that you haven't talked to in a long time

4. Bake cookies or a meal for your neighbor or someone in you community that you think could use a pick me up.

5. Intentionally look at your gift list and think about where you can replace an item (even food!) from a big box store to support a local shop or grocery store. Local Harvest on Morganford in St. Louis is one of our favorite places to shop.

And there are so many more! It's easy to get caught up in life, but it's fun to step outside our routines sometimes and do something unexpected. What sorts of things are you doing to Gift the Good this season?
